IMPORTANT: At New Hope, we automate our lighting by utilizing cues from ProPresenter. See "How to Set Up a Song" in order to learn how to utilize lighting cues.

How do I apply a macro?

The first way to apply a macro is by simply clicking and dragging it to the slide you wish that macro to be used on.
If you need to add a macro to multiple slides start by [[command ]]+ [[click]]the first slide
Hold down [[shift]] and [[click]] the last slide
You should notice that every slide from the first one you clicked to the last one you clicked are now highlighted in blue
Right Click -> Navigate to "Macro" at the bottom -> Select the Macro you would like to apply

    What does each macro do?

The "WORSHIP" macro is should be drug onto each worship background. This handles a lot of actions like making sure the walk in music stops, the stage display reformats for worship, and reformats the lyrics for the livestream and in room experience.
The "CONTENT" macro should be drug onto any slide that you want the entirety of that slide to be viewed both on the livestream and in the room. An example of this would be any video or picture used during a sermon.
The "BIBLE" macro is to be applied to any scripture that is imported into the message area
The "SHUTDOWN" macro is used to clear all slides and turn off the lights at the end of a Sunday. This should be the last thing you do before you leave.
Utilize "NEW HOPE ANNOUNCEMENTS" for any slide used for announcements. This changes how the text appears on the livestream.
