First, enable Gift Vouchers to appear on the EPOS. Go to the Tillex Partner Center and click "Administrator".

Select "Payments".

Click "Epos" and check the box "Gift Vouchers".

Next, in the Tillex Partner Center, select "Sales".

Under the Catalogue section, choose a Menu to host your Gift Vouchers e.g. GIFTS. Or create a new one by clicking "+ Add" in the first column.

In the second column click the "+Add" button to create a "Product Category" e.g. Gift Vouchers. *NOTE: **Check the box "No Integration"** (gift vouchers are not stored or tracked in the Inventory - they are treated as value-only items rather than stock).*

In the third column click the "+Add" button to create a "Product" e.g. Voucher.

On the "Product" Integration tab, select "Gift Voucher". Continue to the next step to view Fulfilment Options.

Fulfilment suggestions - get creative! Design (+ print on any device) your own vouchers or view ideas below:

Tip! You don't have to use a label printer. You can print on anything. Simply use "Print At Till" to capture recipient, sender and message. Invent an 8 digit number or follow: [How To Generate Tillex Voucher Codes](https://scribehow.com/viewer/How_To_Generate_A_List_Of_Unused_Codes_For_Tillex_Gift_Vouchers__3TqK41aCSpuinNz3-QN2Mg) (numbers are valid when sold).

In this example, ALL Fulfilment Options are selected + tabs completed.

Tip! *Create **Individual** Gift Vouchers, for example, EMAIL ONLY, by selecting just one fulfilment option when building the product.*

Fulfilment Options automatically appear as variants. Note: £1.70 extra charge has been added to cover postage costs on: - Print at Till + Delivery - Pre-printed + Delivery

For a fixed price Gift Voucher e.g. £10, set the cost at "Product" level (A). **For multiple voucher values, click "+ Add" to create a "Value Variant" (B).**

Create an **Option Category**, select "Value Variants" and click "Next".

Name the **Option Category** (e.g. Amount or Value) and click "Save".

In the fourth column, click "+ Add" to create monetary variant: - £5 - £50 - Custom

Below shows a "Value Variant". Type in "Details" e.g. £5 and **enter the amount in "Pricing / Availability".** **Tip: leave Pricing blank for Custom Value.**

Next, in the Partner Center, select "EPOS" to view the Gift Voucher "Product".

Click on the Product.

Below is an example of a Gift Voucher "Product" configured with all Fulfilment Options enabled, as set up in the previous steps.

- **EMAIL -** *Tillex automatically generates the voucher code and sends it to the customer (enter their details at checkout)* - **PRE-PRINTED -** e.g., plastic cards with QR codes, *enter the code at the point of sale to activate the voucher.* - **MANUAL / PAPER -** *Use one code per voucher and record usage. Track issued vouchers via "Download Spreadsheet" for easy management.*

To view, manage, void vouchers, go to the Partner Centre → Sales and select "Gift Vouchers".

Correct mis-spelled email addresses / re-send / update issue date (if in the past).

Tip! If a customer buys a Gift Voucher **online** and selects an issue date e.g. Xmas Day, it will be issued at 4am on the specified date.

Tip! Edit customer communication in Administrator - Notifications. Follow the guide:

To redeem, EPOS - Pay Now, tap the Gift Voucher on the payment panel and enter the voucher code. Partial payment is supported. Scanning Gift Vouchers: if using pre-printed cards or the Tillex app (displaying a QR code on a phone), use a 2D scanner that can read light emitted from screens, not just reflected light from paper.

On the rare occasion you need to issue a free Gift Voucher e.g charity, go to the Tillex EPOS and select "Issue Credit".

Enter an amount e.g. £20 in order to see the "Gift Voucher" option appear.

Enter the "Code" of a Gift Voucher (or credit a pre-issued one). If you wish to issue a new one, click on the BARCODE "+" button.

Input details. Enter 8 numbers or use Tillex: [generate codes](https://scribehow.com/viewer/How_To_Generate_A_List_Of_Unused_Codes_For_Tillex_Gift_Vouchers__3TqK41aCSpuinNz3-QN2Mg).

The price of a Gift Voucher is always it's value. No exceptions. *Gift Vouchers cannot be discounted as a protection against accidental discounted issue - e.g. if you have account customers who have a club membership (and are entitled to a 10% discount on everything), they would potentially have a perpetual money making machine.*

NOTE: customers can also buy the product online. *(Tillex epos/ecommerce are 100% the same system).*
