To locate your spreadsheet navigate to [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets)

To the right of the "Categories & Budget" tab. You will find Expense Type column.

Click on the drop down. You will be able to choose if your expense is variable or fixed.

Click "Fixed". If you understand that your expense does not change from period to period.

Click "Variable". If you understand that the expense may recur period to period.
