Adding a new POI (Point)

**"Long press" on the app screen.** A dropped pin will be displayed at that location. **Note:** If you for example want to add a restaurant - make sure you switch on the restaurant icon in the category bar at the bottom of the app screen - so that you can see if we have the restaurant point on our maps or not.

The following menu will open - choose "**Save Map Correction**"

The following screen will appear.

**Scroll down** until you see the category of the point you would like to add. Then tap on it to choose it. For example, if adding a new restaurant, choose the "Food & Drink (MC)" icon. *(ie. "(MC)" stands for "Map Correction")*

A screen like this will open up - add the name of the point and a description. You can also choose to either take a photo or upload a photo from your gallery.

For example, a restaurant point is being added - here the **name and description** have been captured. **Note:** you don't have to submit a photo. Tap on **SAVE** when done.
Your New Point will now be listed on your device - in the menu under "My Check-ins & Corrections" and must by synced to Tracks4Africa.
