    Troubleshooting Your Device Setting Before a Meeting

      Click the "Microsoft Team Desktop Applications".
      In the Microsoft Teams Desktop Application click "..." to open the applications drop menu.
      In the applications drop menu options, click "Settings" to expand and access the settings menu.
      In the settings menu options, click "Devices" to access the devices page.
      In the "Speaker" drop down menu, select your speaker device (headphones).
      In the "Microphone" drop down menu, select the microphone device.
      Once your speakers and microphone devices are selected, click on "Make a test call" to make sure your devices are working properly.
      Click "Settings"
      Once you click on make a test call, the system will redirect you to a test meeting, there you can record a short message to test your microphone and listen to your recording to make sure your speakers work.
      If you were able to successfully listen to your recording click "Close" if not, click "Show Device Settings", change your settings and repeat steps 5-9.
