Sent an e-mail by mistake? Gmail has a built in 'undo send' feature so that you can call it back before you accidentally reply-all. Did you know you can customize the length of time that you have to 'undo' send? Here's how.
Go to [mail.google.com](http://mail.google.com) and click the gear icon to open your settings.
Scroll down to 'Undo Send' and click the dropdown menu to reveal the options.
The send cancellation period is how long you'll have after you send an e-mail to take it back (or un-send it). If the cancellation is 5 seconds, that means that you only have 5 seconds to click 'un-send' or else your e-mail is already on it's way to the recipient. Setting the cancellation period to the maximum time (30 seconds) gives you more time to click un-send.
Select the maximum amount of time (30 seconds) for the send cancellation period.
Don't forget to click 'Save changes'!
That's it, you've successfully changed the undo send cancellation period in Gmail! Continue to the next step for how to test it out.
Click 'Compose' to create a new message.
      Create a test e-mail.
      Click 'Send'
Look for the 'Undo' button in the bottom left corner. Click 'Undo' to un-send your e-mail!
