This tutorial can also help you ininstall any other antivirus you may have on your laptop (McAfee, Avast, Kaspersky, ESET...) - the process is very similar in any case.
1
Click on the Windows button at the bottom left-hand corner
2
Look up for "Add or delete programs"
3
Click on "Add or delete program" in your settings then click on "open"
4
Look for the existing antivirus (McAfee, Avast, ESET, Kaspersky..) and click on "uninstall"
This antivirus may have different names and programs, for example [[WebAdvisor by McAfee]] or [[McAfee LiveSafe]]. Be sure to uninstall all associated software, as there may be more than one.
5
Confirm your choice of uninstalling the antivirus
The display of the following steps may differ, but the important thing is to complete the uninstallation.
6
Click on "uninstall" (this is the example for McAfee)
7
Wait for the process to be completed
8
Finish the process by restarting your PC.
9
Then Bitdefender should automatically be remotely deployed on your PC!
