    Uninstall an existing antivirus on your PC to enable the remote installation of Bitdefender | Windows

    This tutorial can also help you ininstall any other antivirus you may have on your laptop (McAfee, Avast, Kaspersky, ESET...) - the process is very similar in any case.

    Click on the Windows button at the bottom left-hand corner

    Look up for "Add or delete programs"

    Click on "Add or delete program" in your settings then click on "open"

    Look for the existing antivirus (McAfee, Avast, ESET, Kaspersky..) and click on "uninstall"

    This antivirus may have different names and programs, for example [[WebAdvisor by McAfee]] or [[McAfee LiveSafe]]. Be sure to uninstall all associated software, as there may be more than one.

    Confirm your choice of uninstalling the antivirus

    The display of the following steps may differ, but the important thing is to complete the uninstallation.
