    **These instructions are only for those who have already set up MFA on their NSH account but need to update their authentication methods.** The process to update your MFA depends on what has changed (such as a new mobile device, phone number, and/or email address): - If you have changed to a new/different mobile device, you will need to **Update your 1st Authentication Method** **(Microsoft Authenticator app)**. - If you have changed your phone number, you will need to **Update your 2nd Authentication Method (Phone Number)** - If you have changed your email address, you will need to **Update your 2nd Authentication Method (Email Address)** You will need a mobile device (phone or tablet) connected to the internet to update MFA on your account.

    Update your 1st Authentication Method (Microsoft Authenticator app)

    On your mobile device, open your web browser and go to <https://myaccount.microsoft.com/security-info> . If asked to log in, log in using your NSH email and password.

    Click "Security info", then click "+ Add sign-in method"

    You should see a screen that looks like this.

    Click "Download now" to download the Microsoft Authenticator app from your mobile device's App Store (or "Play Store" if using an Android device). Follow the prompts to install Microsoft Authenticator to your mobile device.

    After you've installed Microsoft Authenticator on your mobile device, click "Next".

    Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device and click the "+" button to add a new account.

    Click "Work or school account".

    Click "Sign in".

    Type your NSH email address into the "Email or phone" field, then click "Next".

    Type your NSH password into the "Password" field, then click "Sign in".

    A two-digit number will appear on your screen. **PLEASE NOTE:** The number shown below is only an example, your number will be different!

    Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device and type in the two digit number into the "Enter number" field, then click "Yes".

    You should see a message saying "Notification approved". Click "Next" then you're all done!

    Update your 2nd Authentication Method (Phone Number)

    On your mobile device, open your web browser and go to <https://myaccount.microsoft.com/security-info> . If asked to log in, log in using your NSH email and password.

    Click "Security info", then click "+ Add sign-in method"

    In the dropdown menu, select "Phone".
