When the software opens, if your computer is connected to the internet, it will download the latest Firmware from the cloud. Therefore, once you connect the USB plug of your In-Car Device to your computer, you won't have to be connected to the Internet to update your In-Car Device to the latest Firmware.

    11

Connect your Flagtronics In-Car Device to your computer via the [USB Plug at the end of the wiring harness](https://flagtronics.com/cdn/shop/products/DSC_0017_2048x.jpg?v=1627660139). You will see a confirmation screen showing your Devices Serial Number. In this example, it's 20001429. Click "Got It". **NOTE**: *Depending on the location of the harness, you may want to invest in an [USB Extension Cable](https://www.amazon.com/Extension-ITANDA-Transfer-Keyboard-Playstation/dp/B08FJ88BP2/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1DU28I8RU6LSV&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.yoQzgAMQIuzqLdIL1qh6CV4jivFtbbL7cfkVIZXYofz9hH42YuCtu7Vxx6pI1Le8vLOKjnIUV6jGxZ0nU80O5Qyyde30XEQqt1-xBH1cEKM_nOirW_uWMxN7X1VXHWuG-spG0Lo57zJ7ki4A0JwPqRFiBNcngB1Yql3hhgrbk0o7VIc0MfIU5VyTpU1QTyHryM0IgzSBzCZ1s2aBovVJSsxezRpRRBxNKO8phdGNs0Q.SPuCis58o9wGOzpQU_l1Ow9aft97TxP60htFTnm6PMQ&dib_tag=se&keywords=usb%2Bextension%2Bcable&qid=1725633256&sprefix=usb%2Bex%2Caps%2C183&sr=8-3&th=1) to make connecting easier.*
