We recommend using Google Chrome. The tool supports Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Safari.

Open an activity with an embeded MS Stream Video.

Ensure you are in Editing Mode. Click "Turn editing on" to switch this on if necessary.

You can use the handle to expand the editor window.

A red button should appear over the video indicating it needs to be fixed.

Click on the button to display the Fix Tool.

Click on this button and select the icon to fix the Classic Stream embed

A dialog to walk through the fix process will appear.

Click on the "Open migrated video" button to start the process.

If the "Do you want to open this link in a new window..." dialog appears, select the "New Window" option.

Once the new window opens and the MS Stream video appears, click on the "Share" button in the top right corner.

Click the "Paste the copied code into the box below:" field.

Paste the code into the box (use [[Ctrl + V]]or Right click and select paste).

If there are any issues with the embed code, the text area will turn red, and the issues identified will be displayed below.

Click on the "Save changes" button to update the resource.

Once updated the warning messages should no longer appear.

Repeat this process as necessary for other resources.

You can repeat steps 5 - 14 if there are multiple videos on the same resource page.
