    Uploading an image directly onto a page component

      Identify the "**Image**" section within your component editor. Select "**Add media**"

      You may elect to **drag and drop your file** from your local computer's file explorer, or you may choose "**Select file"**

      Identify the image you want to upload from your local computer. Then select it. **IMPORTANT: Make sure you've optimized your image for the web. The file size should be as small as possible, less than 1MB.**

      Give your image the **required Alt Text attribute.** Alt text is important for meeting web accessibility guidelines. Alt Text should be descriptive and give a user who may not be able to see the image the important details the image is conveying. Enter some appropriate alt text for your image and select "**Save**"

      Your image is now uploaded to the Media Library. Click "**Insert selected**" to add the new image to your page. \ Note the blue check box in the corner of the image; this indicates the image is selected. You may only add one selected image at a time to a page.

      Your image is now loaded into your component on your page. Continue editing as needed. **Save** the page when done.
