The main window will display a live video from participants who have their camera turned on, or a profile picture (or initials) from participants who have their camera turned off.

      Change video settings

To change your camera settings (including choosing which camera you want to use), click the arrow next to the Camera icon.
Choose the camera you want to use, or click "More video effects and settings" to open the full video settings menu.
Click "Settings" to open the full video settings menu.
Adjust the settings, then click the "X" at the top-right to close the settings menu.

      Change audio settings

To change your audio settings (including choosing which microphone and speaker/headphones you want to use), click the arrow next to the Mic icon.
Choose the speaker and microphone you want to use, or click "More audio settings" to open the full audio settings menu.
Adjust the settings, then click the "X" at the top-right to close the settings menu.

      Turn your camera on/off

To turn your camera on or off, click "Camera". Your camera is **turned off** if there is a slash through the camera icon. It's up to you if you want to turn your camera on or off.

      Mute/unmute your microphone

To unmute or mute your microphone, click "Mic". Your microphone is **muted** if there is a slash through the microphone icon.
TIP: Loud echoing sounds (also known as "feedback") occur during a meeting when audio from someone's speaker easily enters their microphone, repeating in a loop over and over again. Feedback be avoided by using headphones instead of a speaker, and keeping your microphone muted until you want to talk.

      Open the Chat window

To open the chat window, click "Chat".
To type a chat message, type your message into the box and hit the "Enter" key. Chat messages can be seen by everyone who has been invited to the meeting, **even if they are not attending the meeting.**

      Open the Participants window

To open the Participants window, click "People". A list will appear showing everyone attending this meeting, as well as everyone who has been invited to this meeting.
