Here is an example on a Basic Page edit. We have a Hero section already ready to go, we just need an image.

You can add an "Alternative text" field optionally.

Click "Crop image (cropping applied)" dropdown to use Crop Image.

Here we have a widget that allows us to choose our size and where we want part of our image we want to show., defined inside the wrapper. You can hit a hard limit- meaning there is only so small you can crop. The wrapper will not scale down further than the hard limit. We can set this to only show the blue blocks.

Click "Crop image (cropping applied)" dropdown.

Now let's move the wrapper over to the pink blocks.

Using Image Crop
