We in Residence Life are excited to share with you our new Housing platform, eRezLife. eRezLife will be our new software for accepting Housing applications, making room placements/assignments, and much more. The great thing about eRezLife is that students are also able to use it!

To get into eRezLife, use the link at <https://southeast.erezlife.com/>. eRezLife uses Single Sign-On with your SCC email address, which means that you must be accepted to the college in order to access the platform.

In this and our other demos, we will be using a training site, so the view will be a little different than what you might see.

When you first log in, you will have your main screen appear. On your main screen, you will have your Recommended Actions, Upcoming Events on the calendar, any forms that you have submitted, and so forth.

There are a variety of tabs in the menu that we'll walk through. The first tab is the General tab, which is where your Student Profile and Assessments will be.

Your Student Profile is information all about you. A lot of it is information pulled in from your Student Account within the college, while some of it will come from filling out applications within eRezLife. Anything that appears in the box next to the arrow cannot be edited, while anything below that can be if necessary.

Assessments will be for when you move into a room. This will be what we have called your Room Condition Report. When you first check in, you will receive a notification in eRezLife that you will need to assess your room's "inventory" based on the condition that is listed within the system. This allows for staff to keep a better track record of everything going on in the room and to track repairs needed/made over time.

The Jobs tab will be for any positions that Residence Life is looking to hire. In this example, the Resident Assistant position is posted for all the campuses and is broken down into different groups for new applicants and returning RAs for their respective campuses.

The Housing tab will initially look different for those who have not applied yet. In this example, the student has applied and has already selected a room. What new applicants will likely see is a list of all the applications that they can apply for. Our next training guides will cover how to fill out the Housing application, the process for selecting roommates, and the process for finding a room.

Questions about your application?

The Forms tab will be for any forms that residents may fill out throughout the semester. This tab typically will only appear for students with a housing assignment.

The final tab, Resources, is where any important documents/information will be stored for residents to refer to. Documents such as the Student Housing Contract (seen below), Residence Life Handbook, and others will be kept here to provide additional guidance to students.
