    When a customer message is waiting for a reply, send a notification in another channel

    Click "Create Zap"

    In your Trigger, select "Channeled" as your App Event

    In your Trigger Event, select "When a Message Is Unassigned After X Minutes"

    Authenticate using the workspace you use with Channeled and click "Continue"

    Make sure Zapier produces a test message. Sometimes you need to refresh the page to see this! Then, click "Continue" to create your Action

    Add a step in your Zap, and select "Filter by Zapier"

    In your Filter setup, select "Unassigned Minutes." This is what Zapier will use to determine how long the message goes unassigned for before sending your follow-up notification.

    In your Filter setup, set the # of minutes to wait for before sending your follow-up action. In this example, we're setting this Zap to fire after 5 minutes if the message goes unassigned. Then, click "Continue"

    Add a step, select "Slack" as your App Event, and select "Send Channel Message" as your Action Event

    Customize your action and message. You can bring in dynamic values from previous steps, like displaying the channel where the message came from.

    Your Zap is ready to go! You can add additional steps to tag the item, assign it automatically, update its status, anything you'd like. Happy automating!
