    Click "Create Zap"

    In your Trigger, select "Slack" as your App Event

    In your Trigger Event, select "New Channel"

    Add a filter as a next step using "Filter by Zapier"

    Only add the right channels into Channeled by filter on a format for the channel name. In this case, we're only going to add channels to the inbox that contain "waystar"

    Add a step and select "Channeled" as your App Event

    Select "Connects a Customer Channel" as the Action Event

    Map the value from Step 1: Name into the "Channel Name" input

    Your Zap is ready to go! You can add additional steps to assign the channel to an internal owner or anything else you'd like. Happy automating!
