students can join your community directly from your somos profile page by clicking the  [[🚀 join my community for free]] button

they'll be taken through a short onboarding form so you have some initial info about them. to start with we'll want to know if they already have a somos account or not.

for first time joiners, we'll need to collect some basic info. please note that for now, all somos students needs to be at least 18.

if you have any reason to suspect that a new student in your community is a minor, please let us know at [[support@somos.education]] as a matter of urgency.

we ask students to let us know their time zone (which we'll share with you) so that you have a rough idea of when they may be online.
