1
From the work planner, go to the date that you want to send reminders out for.
2
From the pink menu button, you'll see the options for Email reminders, SMS reminders and both email and sms reminders. These are based on the customer's default notification method and are separate as the templates are different for each type.
3
For each of the reminders, the list of customers will come up with the option to deselect any you don't wish to send the reminder to, then press 'next.'
4
Then there's the option to either send or schedule the message for this group. (The schedule option is available on the ultimate plan and up).
5
The schedule option will allow you to choose when the message will be sent. There are some presets for Early morning, Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Late Evening or you can set your own on the custom schedule.
6
There will be a confirmation of the reminders that have been sent or scheduled after each group.
7
And you'll be able to see the 'reminder scheduled' or 'reminded' indicator displayed on the appointment on the planner.
8
To see the scheduled message on the customer, press into the job then on the Customer's name.
9
Then go to the messages tab and you'll be able to see the scheduled message and cancel it up to ten minutes before the scheduled time.
10
The same actions can be repeated for sms reminders and email and sms reminders.
11
To view scheduled messages, head to 'Inbox'
12
And on selecting all or individual messages, you have the option to cancel the scheduled messages.
13
If you only want to send to a specific subset of customers, you can filter the list with the search and filter options or using the search:
14
This can be a tag for a group of customers (for example #needs-reminding) or part of an address like this:
15
Then only the customers returned in the search will be on the list to send reminder messages to.
