AMC Banking 365 BC - Evaluation bank statement

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to run the Evaluation bank statement in AMC Banking 365 BC.

This function uses the latest exported payment journal (Credit Transfer Register) to simulate a bank statement that can be imported into a Payment Reconciliation Journal, allowing you to test and explore the Payment Reconciliation Journal functionality. You need to have run first the "Create Evaluation data" guide and then the\ "Suggest vendor payment on hand created evaluation data" guide to be able to get an Evaluation Bank Statement, as it is based on the exported payment journal (Credit Transfer Register). Be aware: For safety reasons, this function is only available when AMC Banking is running in Demo Mode.

In the business role center, click AMC Banking > Payment Reconciliation Journal

In the Payment Reconciliation List ribbon (Action bar)\ click Action > Porcess > Eval. Bank statement (AMC)

Open the bank account by clicking ...

Chose the same bank account used for your Payment Journal\ in the "**Suggest vendor payment on hand created evaluation data"** guide.

Leave fields values as default and click "OK"

After creating the evaludation bank statement, the user will be shown below message about what was done. Clock the message box.\ \ ***TIP:*** Write down the Payment Reconciliation Journal No., as you will need this value \ in the next step of this guide.

In the Payment Reconciliation Journal List, click the Payment Reconciliation Journal No. from the previous step to open the journal.

You will now see an overview of the **bank statement lines** imported in the previous step.\ You will also notice that the lines have been **automatically matched** during the import process.

Tip!\ \ Since we have just imported a **bank statement**, we now have two options for posting the journal: 1. **Post and Reconcile** the bank statement immediately, or 2. **Post Only**, and then proceed to the **Bank Account Reconciliation** page to reconcile the statement later. In this evaluation scenario, we will choose **Post Only** in order to explore how the **Bank Reconciliation Journal** works.

In the ribbon (Action bar), click "Post Payments Only..."

Click "Yes" to Post the payments
