Accessing IXL Summer Boost Program Steps

This shows you how to get to where the lists of Summer Boost skills are found on IXL.com. This doesn't include steps to actually complete the skills....students are familiar with that from using IXL throughout the school year. It is best to access the Summer Boost skills on a web browser instead of the IXL app.

Navigate to [https://www.ixl.com/signin/gsic](https://www.ixl.com/signin/gsic)

Click the "Username" field.

Type student's username.

Enter password.

Click "Sign in"

Click this menu button - the 3 lines at the top right. Or, on a desktop version you may see the word "Learning". This is the page you're looking for where the skill plans are.

Click "Learning"

Click "Skill plans"

Click "School spotlight"

Click "IXL Summer Boost: Language Arts"

Click on the grade the student is going to in the coming school year.

This is the page where the ELA skills are. Scroll through the list of 20 skills, 4 weeks of 5 days...complete all skills on the list before school starts.

To switch over to the Math skills, select the "Math" drop down option. On this page you'll see the list of 20 MATH skills, 4 weeks of 5 days...complete all skills on the list before school starts. Math and ELA Summer Boost plans must be completed....40 skills total per student.
