Accessing Turnitin Similarity Score Details (via Grade tab)
1
Select a Report where Turnitin has been enabled, and students have started submitting work.
2
Filter the **Submissions** tab by **Needs Grading**. This ensures that a Similarity check has been run through Turnitin on the student's submission.
3
Select a student.
4
In the **Grade** tab, you will see a **Similarity:** pill containing a number on any item where Turnitin is enabled. The color of the pill is determined by the percent similarity, where 100% is red (like the screenshot below), and 0% is green.
5
Click this icon to launch the **Turnitin viewer**, where you'll find more similarity score details and sources.
6
In the **Turnitin viewer**, you'll find a list of Sources, and a percentage of how well they match to the student's submission. Select one to view more details.
7
Click the **Information Icon for More Details**.
8
The source's **External ID** field is the ***Labflow* student ID**, which is unique to each Labflow user, and independent of the student's University ID. **Copy this number.**
9
Go back to the Labflow Report **Submissions** tab.
10
Deselect any filters.
11
Paste the Labflow student ID from the Turnitin source into the search bar - the student's name will appear in the search results!
