Activate a License Key

This guide provides steps for Cephable users to activate a license key in order to upgrade their app to Pro/Plus/Edu tiers and unlock enhanced features.

If you are a Cephable Personal user and want to upgrade to Cephable Professional, Education, or Plus, you can do so by either starting a trial, purchasing a license key, or by activating a license key you received from a Cephable Partner.

To upgrade and activate a license, go to your account settings in the app or Cephable Portal. Click "Account Settings"

Here you'll see "Upgrade your Cephable Experience". You can view products to purchase from the Cephable website or you can activate a license key you've already obtained.

Click "Activate" and make sure you have your license key ready to paste.

Click "License Key" and paste your license key value into the field.

Click "Organization Name" to enter the name for your team. Each license key has a max number of team members you can add to your team.

Once you've entered your key and team name, click Activate.

You should see a notice that your account was instantly upgraded to Cephable Professional (or Edu/Plus depending on the license). Now you can enjoy all the enhanced features you have access to in Cephable!

You can also manage your team members and invite others (if your license allows for more than 1 person). Click "My Team" at the bottom of the Cephable Dashboard.

Click "View Members"

Click "Add a Member" to invite someone to the team.

You can check what version of Cephable you have by viewing the footer information on any page of the Cephable app.
