Activating Live Event Networking (Kyrios Starter Pack)

This guide shows you how to use the Live Event Networking system inside Kyrios to capture and follow up with new contacts you meet. This system is already installed in your account. You are simply activating and using the system, not building anything from scratch. It gives you a simple way to: 1. capture new contacts 2. remember where you met them 3. follow up automatically

How It Works

Once a contact is added and assigned: - A follow-up message is sent - The system continues to follow up if there is no reply - If the contact responds, the sequence stops The system will send out an email and SMS (if you have a phone connected in Kyrios). It will wait 2 days for a response. If there is no response, it will send out a nudge email on day 3. It will then wait another 2 days. If there is no response, it will send out a final email and SMS message to find time to chat. It will wait 2 more days for a response. If there is no response after that, the system will email you a notification to follow-up via phone.

Before You Start

**What you will do** This only requires 2 steps before using the system: 1. Add your networking funnel domain 2. Connect Your domain to the networking funnel You only need two things before you start: 1. A domain or subdomain you want to use for the referral funnel 2. Access to your domain registrar to update DNS records if needed Everything else should already be available in your account.

Step 1: Add Your Domain

If you have not already connected your domain to Kyrios, you will need to connect that first. If your primary domain is already connected, skip to Step 2.

Click "Settings"

Click "Domains & URL Redirects"

Click "Connect a domain"

Click "Connect"

Click the "Please input your domain" field. Step 2: Connect Your Domain to the Networking Funnel

Click "Sites"

Click "Live Event Networking"

Click "Settings"

Click "Please select a domain" and select the domain you added to Kyrios. Once the domain is connected, you will now have access to the form via:\ https://whateveryourdomainis.com/networking

Step 3: Add New Networking Contacts

There are two ways to use this system: **Option 1: Use the Kyrios mobile app (recommended)** This is the fastest way to add contacts while networking if you are collecting business cards. 1. Open the Kyrios mobile app 2. Scan a business card 3. Enter the "Where Did You Meet" field 4. Save the contact The system will: - create the contact - assign it to you - begin the follow-up automatically **Option 2: Use the networking form** Use this if you do not have a business card or prefer to enter the contact manually. 1. Open the networking form 2. Enter the contact’s information 3. Enter where you met them 4. Submit the form After submitting: 1. Go to your contacts in Kyrios 2. Find the contact you just added 3. Assign the contact to yourself or the correct user The follow-up sequence will begin after the contact is assigned.

Use the Kyrios Mobile App

Open your Kyrios App on your phone and click Contacts

Click "Scan Business Card"

If it is the first time you have used the Scan a Business Card function, the app will ask permission to access your camera. Once you grant access, it will scan the front of the business card and offer to scan the back if necessary. If you want to scan the back of the business card, click "Scan the Back." If not, click "Skip"

Once your business card has been scanned, the AI will process the information from the card and create the contact.

Once you have confirmed the information is correct, click "Save Contact."

Now you have a new contact in your Kyrios account. Next, we want to add them to the automation for follow-up. Click the 3 dots in the top right corner of the screen and click "Edit."

Click "Additional Info"

Fill in the "Where did you meet" field and click save. That's it! The system will now start following up with your networking lead to help you get a conversation going. Simply wait for replies from your leads. After a period of time, if the lead does not respond, Kyrios will send you an email notification and you can then follow up with a phone call if desired.

Use the Networking Form

When you visit the page at the domain you added above, you will now see the Add a Networking Lead form. Complete the form information for your lead. **NOTE:** The Where Did You Meet field is a required field because it is part of the system automated follow-up. It will be used throughout messaging sent to the lead as a reminder of where you met. For example: *Hi Bob, it was great meeting you through **Hoover Chamber of Commerce**. I just sent you an email to follow up. I’d love to learn more about ACME Inc. and stay in touch. -David*

Click "Submit"

After you click Submit, it will take you to a confirmation page where your lead has been added to your Kyrios account. At this point, you can exit or you may click "Add Another Lead" to continue adding leads.

After the form is submitted, you need to tell it who to send the messages from. This is a simple process. Click "Contacts", then you can click your contact from the list. If necessary, use the search function.

Once you open your contact, you can assign a Contact Owner. Click contact owner and select which user the emails should come from. That's it! Now, the system will begin the messaging sequence to follow up with your contacts.
