Add Existing User to Group and Assign Role

This guide provides a straightforward process for adding existing users to a group and assigning them roles within the Ippy Dippy app.

Theippydippy

Navigate to [https://app.theippydippy.com/groups](https://app.theippydippy.com/groups)

(option 1) Click the group in which you want to add users (ex. Slytherin).

Click "Group Users"

Click "Add Existing User to Group"

Click here.

Type the name of the person you wish to add to the group (ex. Horace Slughorn)

Click the name and assign a role of admin or member

Click "Save"

(option 2) Click "Users"

Click the "Search" field.

Type the name of the person you wish to put in a group (ex. Dolores Umbridge)

Click the "Search" field.

Click "Apply Filters"

Click the person

Click "Groups"

Click "Add to Existing Group"

Click "Group"

Type the name of the group you want them to be in (ex. Slytherin)

Click the group (ex. Slytherin).

Assign them to be an admin or member

Click "Save"

Click "Groups" to check your new list

Click the group you wish to see

Click "Group Users"
