Add Vehicle(s) - Decode VIN - Service Provider

This is a step-by-step guide for service providers (process agents) to add vehicle(s) using the VIN decoder within the ClearFleet system

Iterisclearfleet

Navigate to IRP Vehicles

Navigate to the Iteris ClearFleet system

Click "IRP" from the navigation menu

Click "Vehicles" from the IRP sub-menu

Select your desired registration year and fleet

Select "Add Vehicle(s)" from the action icon dropdown menu

Click "Start"

Supplement Step 1 of 4 - Add Vehicle Details

Add vehicle supplement will load

NOTE: Supplement is available from the Work in Process page until submitted\ Learn more about [Work in Process](https://scribehow.com/shared/Work_in_Process__6YsAyJXqTTCE7m5FFs_5hw)

Click "Add Vehicle"

Add type options include decode VIN, copy from existing, and manual entry

For this guide we will select "Decode VIN"

Enter a VIN

NOTE: Vehicle year is optional

Click "Next"

If VIN was decoded, enter the remaining vehicle information

User entering data is responsible for the accuracy of any decoded VIN information!

NOTE: Temporary authority is available and selected by default

When ready, click "Next"

Enter the weight group and axle information

NOTE: New weight groups can be added if needed

When ready, click "Next"

Enter the registration details

NOTE: Vehicle(s) should be added to registration within 30 days of purchase date

NOTE: If an IFTA account exists, option to receive an IFTA decal for the new vehicle

When ready, click "Save"

NOTE: Vehicles can be edited or removed from the supplement

NOTE: More vehicles can be added to the supplement

When ready, click "Next"

Supplement Step 2 of 4 - Documentation

Review documentation requirements and upload any documents

When ready, click "Next"

Supplement Step 3 of 4 - Verify

Select preferences and verify supplement information

Selections must be made for how to receive the invoice as well as the credentials

Click "Next"

Supplement Step 4 of 4 - Submit

Review supplement and invoice details

Click "Submit"

NOTE: Supplement is now open for DOT processing

Supplement Submitted

System redirects to the open supplement
