Add a Shared Mailbox in Outlook.com or Outlook new.

Shared mailboxes are a great tool, and we bet you'll love what it does for your organization. It's worth noting, this guide assumes you've already been added as a member of a shared mailbox by Ultrex IT or your admin, and that now you're ready to add it to your view.

Microsoft Outlook

Navigate to[Outlook.com](https://www.outlook.com) and sign in.

Click the three dots to the right of your email address.

Click "Add shared folder or mailbox"

Click into the blank area.

Type the shared mailbox email address that you've been added to.

Click "Continue"

Click "Close"

Close the settings page, or click "Add" if you have more shared mailboxes to add.

Now you'll note that below your main email box and its' folders, you have a seperate mailbox that is the shared mailbox- keep in mind that clicking reply to a message in that box replies *as the shared mailbox email, not your own*. And that deleting, archiving etc actions, apply to all users of that shared mailbox. (and that other members of the shared mailbox will see your replies/outgoing messages).
