Add a Signature Tag in a Meeting

This step-by-step guide will show you how to add a Signature Tag to a document when you're in the Videosign Meeting Room. Signature tags highlight areas of the document where users are required to sign. This can help speed up the signing process during a meeting, especially if the document requires signatures in multiple different areas.

Videosign

Enter the meeting room.

Open the left-hand menu.

If you've not already uploaded a document, upload it first. Then click "To Sign".

Click on the document name.

Click "Manage Document".

Click "Add tag".

A tag for the host and each participant will be available. If the document is a template you uploaded from Videosign's Template Manager, the tags will be named according to the roles associated with that template. If the document is one you manually uploaded, the tags will be named according to the invited participants.

Click on the participant you want to add a tag for.

To resize the signature box, click and drag on the corners.

Move the signature into the correct place on the document by dragging and dropping.

Click the green tick symbol.

To add a signature tag for another participant, click on their name from the list. You can add more than one signature tag for the same participant.

Follow the same process.

When you're done, click "Save changes".

Signature tags will look like this once they've been added. The "Click to Sign" button is authorised only for the participant to whom the tag belongs, and can only be signed by that individual.
