Add, edit, and view continuing education hours

Click "Record Continuing Education Hours"

Here you can view previous continuing education submissions, edit submissions, or add a new one. To create a new continuing education record, click "Add Continuing Education Record"

Click "New Continuing Education Record"

Click "All Sponsoring Organizations"

Select the organization that sponsored the activity. Use the search bar to navigate easily. Click "Select". You can change this if you realize you selected the wrong one.

Click "All Continuing Education"

Choose the most appropriate continuing education category. Hover over the question mark icon to read a description of each category. Click "Select". You can change this if you realize you selected the wrong one.

Enter the program title (i.e. Trails and Trilliums, TN2 class name, Training on --).

Enter the date of the continuing education. \*NOTE - if the continuing education took place over multiple days, you must create a separate entry for each day

Enter the amount of time spent at the continuing education. You can select hours or minutes, so be sure to double check your time is correct.

Select whether the delivery method was in-person or online/webinar. Note that for online/webinar classes, students may receive a maximum credit of two (2) hours for every ten (10) hours of overall continuing education.

Add a brief description of what you did and learned in the continuing education activity.

Select whether the continuing education occurred at the organization's primary address. For example, if it occurred offsite in the field or at an external event, the answer would be no. If the answer is no, enter the name of the location and select the county from the dropdown menu.

Enter the instructor's name and contact information. You can choose to enter phone number, email, or both.

Click "Submit Continuing Education Record." Your continuing education record is now awaiting approval. If you need to view or edit a previously submitted continuing education record, there are two ways to do so.

The first option is to click "Record Continuing Education Hours" on the dashboard

All of your records will have the option to view. You will only be able to edit records that have not yet been approved.

The second option is to click "Service" on the dashboard

All of your records will have the option to view. You will only be able to edit records that have not yet been approved.

You can view your progress toward certifications by clicking "Tracks" on the dashboard

Here you can see how many continuing education hours you have completed and how many you have remaining to achieve the naturalist milestones, which you can work towards after becoming a certified naturalist.
