Add or remove a traveler

This guide outlines the steps to add or remove travellers from a contract, including prerequisites and key actions. It provides clear instructions to help users manage their travel contracts efficiently and ensure all required travellers are accurately listed.

Before a customer can add a traveller to a contract, the traveller must first be added to the **account**. Additional travellers can only be added to contracts that are **not yet in effect**. To add a traveller to the **account**, select **My Profile** from the left-hand menu.

From the Home screen, select **Open** on the active contract.

Under **Covered Travellers**, select **Modify**.

Click "Add a traveller"

Complete the traveller’s information by selecting their **relationship**, entering their **first and last name**, providing their **date of birth**, and confirming the **address details**. Click **Save** to continue.

**Note:** For now, all new travellers must reside at the **same address** as the account owner. - If the user **unchecks** the box confirming the same address, they will be prompted to **create a new contract**. - Selecting **Purchase a new contract** will redirect the account owner to the **Quoter** to begin a new application

The list of travellers on the contract will update. A **check mark** beside each name and a **green status bar** at the bottom of the page confirm the traveller has been successfully added to the contract. To **remove** a traveller from the contract, simply **deselect the check mark** beside their name. Select **Next** to continue.
