Add/edit checkbox fields without use of a dictionary

Click "Projects"

Choose a project

Click "eSource library"

Choose a field

Choose type "Checkbox"

Use the toggle to decide if you want to use dictionary for this field or not

If the toggle is set to active

Choose dictionary from the list

Click "Save"
