Adding Items to the District Library by Creating an Assessment

From within Pear Assessment, click "Test"

Click "New Test"

Select the style of test creation (typically, "From Scratch")

Modify the search tags based on how you built your items. For example, change the collection to "District Library" and ensure the standard set is the most recent Virginia SOL

You can also select "Created by Me" if you were the author of all the questions you will be adding. When you've located an item, click "Add"

Click "Description"

Ensure the proper categories are tagged

Name the assessment following the standard "SUBJECT_GRADE_TOPIC" such as MATH_5_TEI

Click here.

Select "District Common"

Click the "All or nothing" field.

Click the arrow button to publish to the district library so items can become available

Click "EDIT"

Click the "District" field.
