Adding User Overrides in Moodle Quiz

This guide provides a straightforward process for adding user overrides in Moodle quizzes, allowing educators to customize quiz settings for individual students. By following these steps, instructors can manage access and timing effectively, ensuring that all students have a fair opportunity to complete their assessments. Navigate to your quiz

Click "More"

Click "Overrides"

Click "Add user override"

Click the "Override user" field.

Click "on the name to select"

Click the "Enable" field under the "Close the quiz" section - this will close the quiz from being attempted

Enter a time prior to when the quiz is open for the rest of the class

Attempts allowed should remain at 1, as there is no 0 option.

Hit "Save" when you are done.
