Adding a Pledge Class & Pledge Contacts.

Navigate to <https://portal.sigmachi.org/>

As Magister, you will have the ability to manage and view all pledging actions. Click on the pledging tab and then "Add New Pledges" to start your new pledge class.

You will be taken to a pledge class dashboard which will show you all past and current classes.

To start a new pledge class, click on "Add Pledge Class".

Enter a name for your class.

Once inputted, move to the next steps by adding a bid date, pledge date, and estimated initiation date.

Click "*Bid Date"

Click "Pledge Date".

Click the "*Estimated Initiation Date" field.

Select the scheduled initiation date for your chapter.

Click "Save"

If the estimated initiation date goes above the required pledging period of 5 weeks or 35 days, you will receive an error message and be asked to input another date that fits with that policy.

Click the "*Estimated Initiation Date" field.

The pledge class can now be successfully be saved.

The Magister will then be taken to this page where he can start adding pledges to the class. Click on "Add Pledge Contact" to get started.

The Magister will be required to fill out the following information fields for individual pledges.

Click the "*First Name" field.

Type in first name.

Click the "*Last Name" field.

Type in last name.

Click the "*Email" field.

Enter email.

Before saving the pledge contact click on the "agree & confirm" check box.

If you are adding an individual pledge at a time, fill out the fields and the required items, then hit "Save".

You should then be taken to "Pledge Contacts" and should see a list of pledges.

Pledges need to create their accounts to be added to your chapter's Pledging dashboard as active pledges. This will also lead them to towards the steps of creating their e-learning accounts for P4B and R4L. You can view the invite status of each individual pledge on this table.

Click "Send Pledge Invites" to have the pledge class claim and create their accounts.

The pledge should receive a similar email to this one, where he will be able to go in and sign up for his account.

If you go back to the pledge contacts for that specific pledge class you will see that the invite status has changed to "Sent".

To view claimed and unclaimed pledge accounts, navigate to the "Pledging Dashboard" page.

Scroll down to view unclaimed accounts.

To search for an specific pledge's account status, select the search bar and enter his name.

The "Clark Kent" test user has claimed his account, so he will not appear in this table.

Scroll up to the claimed accounts field. You will be given a list of all pledges with a claimed account.

You can also search for a specific pledge.

Once an account is claimed by the pledge, he will be listed under claimed accounts as an Active-Pledge.
