Adding a data collector to WorksManager (Pt.1 Office)

Click on the **Devices** tab in your WorksManager account page.

Click **ADD** in the upper right corner.

In the Device Model drop-down menu select **Tablet** when adding a data collector.

Enter the serial number of your data collector. Include the DAD or DAP at the beginning.

The serial of a TSC7/T7 can be found under the battery of the data collector.

Next assign your device a name. You can name it whatever you would like, just do not include any special characters.

Now you will need to add a description for the device. Again, this can be whatever you would like. This is only visible in WorksManager.

Finally, you will need to assign the device a password. It is recommended to keep the password the same for all your devices on your account. SITECH NE recommends using **AAAA.**

Take a picture of this for your records, or make note of this information.

Re-enter your password to confirm that it is accurate. Click **Add** when complete.

WorksManager will notify you that when syncing the device in the field, the device credentials must match what was entered in WorksManager at this step. Click **OK.**

The TSC7/T7 will now display in your account's device list. Note that until a test has been performed in the field, the device will not be claimed and display a yellow caution symbol in WorksManager. To claim the device, follow Pt. 2 of this Scribe titled **Adding a TSC7/T7 to WorksManager (Pt. 2 Siteworks WorksManager Test).**
