Adding and Editing Guest Profiles in the Dashboard

Within the dashboard, you can edit details related to guests, volunteers, residents and staff. However, if you need to change a phone number or name related to a **provider** account - please reach out to [techsupport@accushield.com](mailto:techsupport@accushield.com) for assistance.
Adding Accounts

Navigate to [https://dashboard.accushield.com](https://dashboard.accushield.com/landing) Click "Accounts" and then choose the type of visitor you're wanting to view, add or update. For now, let's look at "Family Or Guest"

If you want to add a guest profile, click "Add" This is mostly beneficial for guests that have never signed-in at your community's kiosk. When you create a person's profile on their behalf, it will add them to your system, so the kiosk will recognize them during their first time sign-in. It will also allow you to pre-schedule a visit for this guest.

Fill out the "First Name" and "Last Name" fields. The other fields can be filled in, but aren't required.

Fill in the "Phone" field with the number they'd use to sign-in to the Accushield Kiosk.

You can opt this person in to receiving your future Connect SMS text messages with the "Group SMS Messages" toggle. You may also have the ability to toggle on the ability to opt them into your Facial Recognition program, if you have that enabled at your community. Click "Save" once done adding details.

To add, view or edit Volunteer accounts, choose "Volunteer" from the "Accounts" dropdown. Click the Add button to add someone new.

You can view vendor / provider profiles the same way by clicking on "Accounts" and "Service Provider" however you cannot add a provider account or edit their profiles like guests. If a provider needs their account to be updated, you can advise them to edit their account during sign-in using the kiosk or mobile app. Or you could email [communitysupport@accushield.com](mailto:communitysupport@accushield.com) with your request.

You can also add new profiles / accounts directly from your Dashboard homepage - by clicking "Add" choosing "Account" and then deciding what type of Account you'd like to add.
Editing Accounts

To find existing profiles to edit, go through "Accounts," choose the type of visitor you're wanting to edit from the dropdown. The search you can fill in the "Search by Name or Phone" field. You can type in a first name, last name or phone number. Click "Apply" once done.

To view / edit profiles, go through "Accounts," choose the type of visitor you're wanting to edit and search for their name. click their name.

Click "Edit"

Click into whichever field you're wanting to edit. If their phone number needs to be edited, we'd recommend having this guest create a new account.

Click "Save"

You can also apply a filter to view all guests that have opted-in or opted-out to your Connect SMS text messaging program. You can change their opt-in status through their profile.

Or, to edit an existing profile, search for and click on the name of the person.

Choose the "Edit" option and update whatever fields need updating.
Allowing Guests to Edit Their Own Profiles

Guests can also update their own profile details using the Accushield mobile app. When signing in to a community, they can click the three lines in the top righthand corner and then choose "My Account" From there, they can click "Edit" to update details like their first and last name.

During sign-in at the kiosk, guests can also choose "Edit" on the sidebar to edit their details as well.
