Adding new students to your school's platform and their classrooms

This guide provides straightforward instructions for adding new students to your school and classrooms using Elastik's platform. It ensures that you can efficiently check for existing students, input necessary details, then assign them to their classroom.

Elastik

Navigate to "**Schools**"

Select the "**Students**" tab

Click "**Add Student to School**"

Enter in the student details such as **student identifier**, **email**, **first name, last name**, and **date of birth**. \ This will check if the student already exists in Elastik's platform

If the student is in the platform, you can select their name and click "**Choose Classroom to Add**" then proceed to click "**Save**"

If the student already exists in the platform, **Step 5** will be the final step after moving them to your school's Elastik

If the student you are trying to add does not appear in the list below, click "**Reject Matches**". You will then need to add their "**Gender**" and "**Year Level**" and then select "**Add new student**"\ \ They can then be added to their classroom by clicking "**Choose Classroom to Add**" in the top-right, selecting their classroom and clicking the "**Save**" button

Once the student has been added to the school and classroom, you're all done!
