Adding your Klaviyo Credentials to Tall Bob

Connecting Klaviyo and Tall Bob is easier than you might expect. It only takes around 3 minutes to complete. You'll need to follow these steps before you can start sending SMS through Tall Bob.

To connect Klaviyo with Tall Bob, you'll need to add Klaviyo Public and Private API keys to your Tall Bob account.

Part 1: Adding your Klaviyo Public Key to Tall Bob

Click your Account Name on the bottom left of the screen, then select "Settings".

On the Account tab, click the "API Keys" option.\ \ You will see your 'Public API Key' displayed. This is a unique code that enables other web apps to connect to and from your Klaviyo account. Copy this.

Log into Tall Bob through <https://app.tallbob.com/integrations> Or, just log in as you usually do, and navigate to "Integrations" by clicking the Settings gear in the top right-hand corner.

Click "Klaviyo Integration" and find the Public API Key/Site ID field. Paste your Klaviyo Public API Key here.

Part 2: Adding your Klaviyo Private Key to Tall Bob

The next step is to create and add your Private API Key. Navigate to <https://www.klaviyo.com/settings/account/api-keys>

Generate a new private key by clicking the "Create Private API Key" button.

Provide a name for your private key e.g. Tall Bob SMS. Enable **Full Access** for the following API Scopes:\ \ • Campaigns\ • Events\ • List\ • Metrics\ • Profiles\ • Segments\ • Subscriptions

Once the necessary configuration is complete, click "Create"

Copy the Private Key displayed under "Your Private Key"

Return to Tall Bob and paste your key in the Private API Key field.

Click "Enabled" on Event Sync.

Click "Enabled" on Contact Syncing.

Want to know more about these options? **Event Sync** means that any 'event' triggered by an action from a Tall Bob SMS or MMS send, such as a message delivery, an opt-out, or link click can be passed back to the Klaviyo platform. **Contact Syncing** is like Event Sync, but with your customer data. Enabling this means that your customer data can flow between Klaviyo and Tall Bob (for your account only!).

Now that you're happy with your options, click "Save".

You're all done. You can now sync Klaviyo segments to Tall Bob and send SMS via campaigns or flows.
