Admin Interface: Events Configuration

In this walkthrough, administrators learn how to use the Event Configuration tools to set up an event, including branding, messaging, categories, and discounts.

The new admin interface is being released in phases. At this time, no action is required, and enabling the new interface is optional. This walkthrough explores the Event Configuration tools from the Events tab.

Note: This walkthrough is demonstrated using the HorseReg platform. Left navigation labels may vary slightly by sport-specific platform, but overall functionality remains the same.

To activate the new admin interface, log in, then select your account icon (your initials) in the top-right corner and choose *Enable New Dashboard* from the dropdown menu.

Then use the left navigation menu and hover over the *Events* menu to begin. Then select *Events* to open the *Event List* Tab.

For events that have used a sanctioning/permitting application, they will be visible as a LISTING. Click the listing status or the gear icon to update Listing details.

Listing details that can be changed include Listing Name...

Listing date and location

Listing contact information

And listing categories, that help users find local events using the home page when they are logged as a participant.

For events that are hosting event registration on Uplifter, the status of the event registration is illustrated by the Registration Status icon. Edits can be made by clicking the Registration Status or Gear Icon.

From here, you'll be able to update event registration, branding, and messaging.

Update event date and location

Update financials

Update contact information

Update the registration details using the Registration Page. This includes a STANDARD and ADVANCED sub-tab.

Under the STANDARD tab, you can customize your events URL

and update text on your public landing page.

Click the ADVANCED tab to further customize your event, including

Updating theme colour to match your brand,

background colour design,

and toggling additional information on the landing page.

Administrators can also enable pre-registration and post-registration messages to tailor what participants see at different stages of the registration process. Each option opens a dialog box where custom messaging can be added, allowing organizers to share different information before registration opens, while registration is active, and after a participant has completed their registration.

The updated Listing Categories tab helps users discover events directly from their profile. Administrators can: \-> Select a listing type \-> Then choose sport-specific listing categories

To save any changes, use the pop-up!

Under the Optional section of the configuration menu, the Permissions tab is now active.

The permission tab helps administrators manage all users who have visibility and editing access to their financial account.

Click "Manage Financial Organization Permissions" to make updates to your permissions.

To add users to this specific event, click "Process-Specific Permissions". Users who are added using this function are not cloned to future events in this financial account.

Click "Add Process-Specific Admin"

To add a new user, input their name, surname, and email.

You can also toggle email notifications when adding a new administrator.
