Agents: Cancel Policy Coverage in AgriNet

We’ve introduced a new enhancement to the **Agent Edit Access** project: \ **Agents now have the ability to cancel a coverage directly within AgriNet.** - Agents can now **cancel a coverage up to 20 days after the Sales Closing Date**. - This update expands agent autonomy and reduces dependency on Underwriters for post‑SCD adjustments.

Navigate to <https://agrinet.agrisompo.com/policy> and sign in using the Duo push process.

Start the process by selecting the correct crop year to work in.

Click the "Search Insured or Policy" field and search for the policy.

From the policies column on the left, click the policy to cancel coverage from.

Click the "Edit" button next to the commodity to cancel coverage on.

From the "Crop Summary" screen, go up to the right hand corner and click the "Actions" button.

Scroll down and click "Cancel/Transfer Coverage".

A pop out window will appear with the available coverages to cancel. Click the radio button next to the coverage to cancel. Select the appropriate reason from the "Cancel Reason" drop down box, and the "Date" will auto-populate with the current date.

Once all information is keyed as desired, click the "Cancel Coverage" button.

If the information is selected and the "Cancel Coverage" button **DOES NOT** go dark blue, hover the mouse icon over the button to get an applicable error. At this time, contact your Underwriter for further instructions.

On the "Crop Summary" screen, the coverages will now show "Cancelled" with the reason elected. You may now add a New Coverage to the policy if so desired.

At this point, a new type of coverage can be keyed. At completion of keying, make sure to scan all documents in via [Document Management](https://scribehow.com/viewer/Agents_Upload_Documents_using_Document_Management__SR2PmIAVQeSEXy8Xj-hAeQ?referrer=documents) for processing by the underwriter.
