Agents: Creating Layouts in Mapping

Layouts allow a user to create a custom view for groups of fields that would not normally be grouped by any other sorting option available on printed reports and books, such as the options to sort by FSN/Tract, Crop/ Unit, Section, etc. Each Layout consists of pages that will display the custom views for each group of fields.

Navigate to [https://agrisompo-mapping.agrinet.agrisompo.com/](https://agrisompo-mapping.agrinet.agrisompo.com/)

Creating Layouts

Open the Layouts drop-down menu and Click "Create a Layout".

Name the layout.

Click "Save"

Click "Add Page"

Enter a page name.

One way to add fields is by selecting them from the map area.

Click "Save"

The second way to add fields is by Clicking "Define a Page Area".

Click and drag a box around the desired fields. The defined area will be encompassed by a dark blue border. Fields included in the page will be highlighted with a red boundary. Click "Save Page Area" when finished.

Fields to be included in the page will be listed in the Create a Page window on the left side of the screen.

Click "Save" to save the page.

Click the **X** in the top right corner of the Pages prompt to return to the layouts options screen.

Continue adding pages as desired by repeating the steps.

Manage Layouts

Click "Manage Layouts"

Click the edit button to the right of the name of the layout to be opened. This will open the Edit a Layout prompt.

To change the Layout Name, click in the box, edit the name as desired, click "SAVE"

To rename a page, click on the edit button to the right of the page's name.

Click in the box, edit the name as desired, click "SAVE"

To reorder pages, use the three-line icon to drag and drop the pages to the desired order. Click "SAVE" when finished.

To delete a page, click the red **X** to the right of the page. Click "SAVE" to confirm page deletion.

To add more pages, click on the blue "Add Page" button.

To edit the fields on a page, click the edit button next to the page name and: 1. Click a field on the map to add or delete it from the page. 2. Click the X to the right of a field to remove it from the page. 3. Click the blue Edit Page Area button, drag and draw the desired area for the page, and click the blue Save Page Area button or the red Delete Page Area button. Click "Save" when finished editing.

To delete a layout, click on the red X to the right of the name of the layout to be removed. Click "Save" when finished.

Click the black X in the top right corner of the Layouts menu to leave the Layouts function.
