Agents: How to Key Short Rated Acres

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for effectively managing short rate adjustments within AgriNet. Work with policy's underwriter to start the process and complete it.

Agrisompo

Navigate to <https://agrinet.agrisompo.com/policy> and sign in using DUO.

Click the "Search Insured or Policy" field, and key the insureds name or policy number and search.

Click the policy number from the left column to add the short rate option to.

Click the county/commodity from beneath the policy number.

Add Short Rate to the whole line.

Click the "Edit" button on the line of insurance to add short rate to.

Click the "Options" drop down box.

Click the "Short Rate Adjustment" box.

Click "Save".

Click "Close".

NOTE: the "SR" options is now listed on the Lines screen.

Add Short Rate to one field of many on a line.

Click the "Edit" button on the line to work.

Click the "Fields" tab.

Click the "Mapping" icon.

The Mapping screen opens to show the fields on the policy. Click the field to Short Rate.

Click the "Plant" button that appears from the pop out box in the top left hand corner of the screen.

Click the "Short Rated" box.

Click "Save".

Click the "X" from top right hand corner of the pop out box, and then close the "Mapping" window to go back to AgriNet policy.

Click "Update Acreage Line" on the "Fields" tab.

Click "Close".

NOTE: The system has split the Line into two and moved the "Short Rated" acres to a temporary line that shares the same APH database as the original line.

To complete the process, scan the Short Rate Acreage Report into the system via Document Management.
