Agents: Keying Contracts in AgriNet

Agrisompo

Keying a CPA Contract

Navigate to [AgriNet](https://agrinet.agrisompo.com/policy) and sign in using the Duo push process.

Select the correct reinsurance year to work in.

Click the "Search Insured or Policy" field and key the policy number or insured's name to search.

From the policy column on the left, click the correct policy under the insureds name to work in.

Click the "Edit" button under in the commodities box.

Click the "Edit" button in the crop summary box.

**NOTE**: For a contract to be available to be added to a policy, the "Contract Price (CP)" must be selected from the "Options" list.

Click the "Actions" button in the top right corner from the pop out screen.

Click the "New Contract" option from the drop down list.

Click the "Description" field and key the name or description of the contract.

Select the correct "Type" from the drop down list. (If applicable).

Select the correct "Practice" from the drop down list. (If applicable).

**NOTE:** Each contract is different. Make sure to clearly read the contract to see if it is for "lbs" or for "Acres". Key the respected box to match the contract.

Click the "Contracted lbs" box and key the amount matching the contract.

Click the "Contract Price" box and key the contracted price in. **NOTE**: A lot of contracts are priced at the hundred weight. AgriNet is looking for the per pound amount. Make sure to do the conversion before keying. **NOTE:** The contract price should always be in the ten-thousandths place. (.ie .2500 will populate as .25)

Select the "Contract Price Type" drop down menu and select the correct price type for the contract.

Select the "Sheller Code" box and select the correct method from the drop down list (If applicable).

Click the correct type of contract. **NOTE: The contract will not be labeled as a "CPA Contract" or an "Acreage Level Contract". If you are unsure of which type, PLEASE reach out to your underwriter for assistance.**

Override Price field

**NOTE:** If a contract includes both Irrigated and non-Irrigated practices but is entered as a single contract, enter the “Override Price” so that it also applies to the other practice that is not explicitly keyed. For example, in the scenario below, the Override Price entered will also apply to the non-Irrigated lines

Click the "Save" button. **NOTE: The "Company Received" date will remain greyed out. This will be populated AFTER the contract has been scanned in through Document Management and posted to AgriNet.**

Click the "Close" button.

Rating the Policy to Apply Contracts

From the Crop Summary screen, click the "Actions" button.

Scroll down the drop down list and click the "Rate Policy" option. AgriNet will then manually rate the policy and update premiums if acres are keyed in.

Keying an Acreage Level Contract

Navigate to [AgriNet](https://agrinet.agrisompo.com/policy) and sign in using the Duo push process.

Select the correct reinsurance year to work in.

Click the "Search Insured or Policy" field and key the policy number or insured's name to search.

Click the "Edit" button under in the commodities box.

Click the "Edit" button in the crop summary box.

**NOTE**: For a contract to be available to be added to a policy, the "Contract Price (CP)" must be selected from the "Options" list.

Click the "Actions" button in the top right corner from the pop out screen.

Click the "Contracted Production" box and key the amount matching the contract.

Select the "Contract Price Type" drop down menu and select the correct price type for the contract.

Select the "Harvest Method" box and select the correct method from the drop down list.

Click the "Save" button. **NOTE: The "Company Received" date will remain greyed out. This will be populated AFTER the contract has been scanned in through Document Management and posted to AgriNet.**

To add another contract, repeat steps eight through twenty from above.

Click the "Close" button.

Attaching a Contract to a Line of Insurance

Click the "Edit" button from the line to attach the contract to.

Click the "Contracts" tab from the left column.

From the "Contract" drop down list, all keyed contracts will be available to select. Select the correct contract for this line.

Verify the correct contract is showing and then click "Save".

Click the "Next" button to move to the next line.

Once all contracts have been applied to the correct lines, click the "Close" button from the upper right hand corner.

Rating the Policy to Apply Contracts

From the Crop Summary screen, click the "Actions" button.

Scroll down the drop down list and click the "Rate Policy" option. AgriNet will then manually rate the policy and update premiums if acres are keyed in.
