Agents: Reporting Prevent Plant in Mapping

This guide provides a step-by-step approach to accurately report Preventive Plant (PP) acres in mapping. By following these instructions, individuals will gain clarity on how to utilize features like the Plant Editor, Quick Plant and the Reconciliation Page, making the data entry process more efficient.

Plant Editor

Click on a field to open the Plant Selection Box.

Click "Plant"

Fill in the Crop, Unit, and PP Acres.

Click "Save"

The crosshatch on the field indicates that PP acres are recorded.

Quick Plant

To open Quick Plant: Select the Plant drop-down and select Quick Plant

To mark fields as Prevented Plant: check the Prevented Plant box.

Select a Crop-Practice-Type and click on a field to open the Prevented Plant Window.

Select a Unit.

Adjust the acres if needed.

Click "Select"

Click "Save"

If "Prevented Planting Crosshatch" is enabled in User Preferences, you will notice the crosshatch on the Prevented Plant field.

Reconciliation Page

To open the Reconciliation page, click "Reconcile".

Click "Acre Adjustment"

Select a planted event. This will highlight the event blue and the relative fields will become active, allowing for adjustments to be made. Fill in the PP acres.

Click "Save"

The crosshatch represents the PP acres recorded.
