Agents: Uploading Planting and Harvest Precision Ag Data

This guide shows agents exactly how to upload Precision Planting and Harvest data into Agrinet/Mapping and via the AgriNet support form, including where to find the upload tools, required fields (Operation and Season), accepted file types, and size limits. Following it ensures files are correctly submitted and processed so layers become available for reporting, and explains how you’ll be notified when the layer is ready.

Navigate to <https://agrinet.agrisompo.com/policy>

This guide covers uploading both Precision Planting and Precision Harvest data. The same steps apply to both processes.

Uploading Data in Mapping

Search for the insured by name or policy number.

Click on the "Insured's Name".

Click on the "Policy Number".

Click on the "Mapping" icon.

Select The "Tools" option, then "Precision Ag" and "Precision Ag Data Upload".

Within the "File Upload" tab, the Precision Ag dashboard opens to display all layers uploaded for the agency code within the last 30 days. Data for multiple insureds can be uploaded here. Note: All valid layers for reporting can be found in the Precision Ag Layers menu option within Mapping.

Use the arrows beside each column header to sort the columns, and use the drop‑down menus under each header to filter the data.

Click "Select Files"

Select the files to be uploaded from the computer file browser and click open. File sizes must not exceed 3GB combined for any one insured's layer. Note: Data types accepted: John Deere, Climate Fieldview, Case IH, Precision Planting, AgLeader, Kinze, Trimble

You will see the file chosen, but red errors indicate that the "Operation" and "Season" still need to be selected.

From the "Operation"* menu, select whether the uploaded data is for Planting or Harvest.

Select a "Season" from the drop down menu.

Click "Upload" to upload the file.

Click "Process"

The green Success notification will verify data has been uploaded and processing is in progress.

Once all files are uploaded, they are sent for processing and imported into Mapping for reporting. After the files are processed and the layer is available in Mapping, the agent will be notified by the Regional System Support Specialist that the layer is ready for use.

Uploading Data in AgriNet

Click the App Grid button.

Click "AgriNet Support"

Click "Digital Ag/AgriNet Mapping"

Click "Precision Ag Data Drop"

You must fill out all required fields, which are indicated with a red asterisk (\*), before submitting the form. Be sure to check the "PRAG Data Type" box to indicate the type of data being uploaded.

Add additional notes about the data being uploaded if desired.

Click the "Browse" button to search for and select a file to upload from your computer. Click on "Send" to submit the data to AgriSompo.
