Agents: Using Direct Upload (MPCI and Livestock)

This Scribe walks Agents through using the Direct Upload feature to upload documents directly into a policy in AGX. It covers selecting the correct policy and year, choosing the appropriate document type, uploading files one at a time, and confirming uploaded documents within the session to ensure accurate document placement.

Navigate to <https://agrinet.agrisompo.com/policy> Use the drop-down menu to change the year to work in and search for the insured's name or policy number in the "Search Insured or Policy" bar.

Click on the insured's name.

Click on the policy number.

Click on the "Imaging" icon.

Direct Upload is designed for quickly uploading a single document and does not replace Document Management.

\--The window will automatically open to the previously selected policy and year. To change the crop year, click the desired year within the policy tree. \--To change to a different policy, click on the policy number and then on the year you wish to work in.

To see the Direct Upload option, you must be at the "year" level.

Before uploading a document, verify that the year and policy number are correct. The associated county or counties will also display. **This is a critical step, as the system does not read barcodes to determine document placement and there is not a "delete" option.**

Click "Click to upload" to start the upload process.

Direct Upload allows only one document to be uploaded at a time. If multiple documents are combined into a single file, the system will not separate them.

Choose a file from your computer browser and click open.

The file name will display next to "Selected File".

From the *Form* drop‑down menu, select the appropriate file name. You can also begin typing the form name or number to narrow the list. **It is important to choose the correct descriptor, as barcodes do not determine document type the way they do in Document Management.**

Check "Document Includes Private Products" to alert the underwriter of the included documents.

Click "Upload" once the form name is chosen.

Uploaded documents will appear at the bottom of the screen under *Uploaded Documents in Session*. From here, follow the steps above to upload another document, or click "Close"* or refresh the screen to view the uploaded documents in Imaging. Please note that it may take a few minutes for the documents to appear.
