Apply tags when new clients are created in Assembly (formerly Copilot)

As of September 30, 2025, we’ve rebranded to Assembly. The steps below remain the same. When searching in Make, look for Assembly (formerly Copilot) and this logo.

Navigate to your Make account and create a new scenario

Click the + icon to add a trigger. Search for and select "Copilot"

Select "Watch Created Clients"

Click "Add"

Label your webhook

Click "Save"

Click "Copy address to clipboard"

Click "OK"

Switch to your Copilot workspace

Click "Settings"

Click "New webhook"

Paste the endpoint URL copied from Make

Click the "Events to send" field.

Add a new module and select "Copilot"

Find the custom field with the tag you wish to apply, and select the tag

Click here to run the scenario once for testing

Click "Clients" in Copilot

Refresh the Clients page to see the tag applied. Switch to tab "New scenario | Make" and ensure the test ran successfully, then turn on your scenario.
