Approve or Reject a Proposal in Curriculog

Navigate to [https://nmu.curriculog.com/proposal](https://nmu.curriculog.com/proposal)

Click "My Tasks"

Click the title of the proposal you would like to review

If this is NOT your proposal and you would like to add it to your "Watch List" click the flag (the middle symbol on the right)

Once open you are presented with an overview

The default view is "Show current" which will show you the proposal with the current changes. You can select "Show original" which will show you the proposal without the edits. The **best view** for reviewing edits is "Show current with markup" which will color code the new changes.

If you would like to add a comment to the proposal, click "+ Add Comment". Please note, that the comment will be viewable to **all** users.

With "Show current with markup" the boxes will be higlighted and the text in a different color. If they have the "document with an arrow" that means that the information was uploaded directly from the catalog. The change is that the user, uploaded this information, not that they had changed it. For example, in this proposal for "Fundamentals of Accounting" when then course was uploaded, it also uploaded that the department was the "College of Business"

Information without the "document and arrow" is information added by a user. Hovering over the information will show a small pop-up of who made the change, and when

To review any uploads, like syllabi click "Files"

If there are any "attached files" they would be listed, clickable, and downloadable for review

Some reviewers also have access to edit. Click on any field to edit. Please note that this will change your view to "Current view"

Once clicked the field will change to editable and allow you to save or cancel

Remember you will need to change back to "Show current with markup"

You will notice any of your changes are now a different color with your name and time stamp

Ready to approve or reject? Click "Decisions"

Click "Approve" to approve. Add a comment if you would like

Click "Reject" to reject. Comment is required (remember, this is viewable to all)

Whether or approve or reject, click "Make My Decision" to finalize

That's it. The proposal will now go to the next step. An approval will move forward, while a rejct will move back to the either the previous step or originator.
