Assigning Leader Roles in Trail Life Connect

This guide provides a straightforward process for assigning and managing leader roles within Trail Life Connect, ensuring that you can effectively organize your troop's leadership structure. By following these steps, you can easily remove and assign roles, thus facilitating smooth transitions and ensuring that all positions are filled appropriately.

Log into www.TrailLifeConnect.com

Click "My Troop"

Click "Troop Members"

Click the dropdown arrow for the member you need to remove or add a role for.

Click View Profile

If you are removing a role, select the role to remove.

[[There is only one role allowed for a Troop (TML, TM, Committee Chair, Treasurer, SML). For these positions, the role will need to first be 'released' by removing it so it can be granted to another person.]]

Click " Yes, Remove"

Navigate to the member you would like to add the role to and select Add Role.

Click "Select a user role."

Select the desired role.

Click " Add Role "

You should now see the assigned role appearing on their profile.
