Assigning Specific Subjects To Each Student (instead of students inheriting all class subjects)

Enable Subjects Assigning or Registration

Sign in to your school portal as an administrator

Click "Academics"

Click "Academics / Learning"

Click "Class Subjects"

Click the "Settings" tab

Under "Students Subjects Assign Mode", select "*Register Or Assign Subjects*" (instead of 'Inherit Class Subjects')

If you want students to be able to select and register for the subjects they want to offer in a term from their student dashboards, then select "*Yes*" under the option 'students can select and register subjects'

Select "*Yes*" under 'Admin can assign subjects to students' to make it possible to assign subjects to students directly from the admin dashboard.

Click the "*Save*" button to save the configuration changes.
Enable the Subject Registration Window
Upon enabling subjects registration or assigning as detailed above, you will notice that a new menu item named '***Subjects Registration***' will appear under 'ACADEMICS >> Academics/Learning'

Click the "*Subject Registration*" menu

Click the "*Subject Registration Settings*" tab

Under 'Subject Registration Window' select "*Open (Students can register now)"*

Go through and adjust other Subject Registration configuration options as may be necessary.\ \ Afterwards, click "*Save*" to save changes.
Assign Subjects to A Student

Click to switch to the "*View / Assign Students Subjects*" tab

Select the Class and Class Arm (as well as the Session, Term, and Exam) options to load the class students list

Click "View List"

To assign subjects to a student (or view the already assigned subjects) for the selected session/term, click the 'Actions' button corresponding to that student as shown below

Click the "*Select Subjects to Register*" button

For each subject you want to assign to the student, click to check the box "*Select this Subject for Registration*".\ \ Scroll through the class subjects listed and select every subject you want to assign to the student.

After making selections, scroll down to the bottom of the list and click "*Proceed with Selection*" to preview the list of subjects selected

Review the list of subjects selected to ensure all is good. You can click the 'Select Subjects to Register' button again to make changes if necessary.\ \ When you're done and the selections are okay, then click "*Register Subjects →*"

Click "Yes. Go On." in the confirmation prompt.\ \ If all conditions are good and the subjects are successfully assigned, you will see a success message to that effect. \ If there are any issues obstructing the subjects assigning (like students subscription status, already published report for the term, etc.) then you will see the error message accordingly.
