Automated Document Quality Validation for Upload of Attachments for Work Permits

This guide details how the Document Quality Analysis validation feature verifies documents uploaded to a Work Permit application.

Upon creation of the Work Permit, navigate to the "Supporting Documents" section.

Begin upload of the respective named attachments for your work permit application.

Click the *"Drop files here or click to upload"* attachment slot to upload your attachment.

Once document begins to upload, the system will check the document to ensure it is a valid document. ***This is done by checking the number of characters within the document uploaded.***

NB. If the document is blank or contains less than 50 characters, an error will be triggered and the document cannot be uploaded. The same document, once identified as an invalid document, cannot be uploaded again unless amended to meet the verification criteria.

If the document is invalid, the below error message will be triggered and the user will not be unable to upload the document.

Once a valid document is uploaded to the attachment slot, the system will verify this and accept the upload successfully.

Once all documents are uploaded, click "Save", at the bottom right of the "Supporting Document" section and navigate to the proceeding sections to complete the application.

This validation feature is available to all Work Permit Application Types and is applied at both the DRAFT & QUERIED stages of the application.
